Conformal coating involves the application of a thin polymeric film that conforms to the shapes of an electronic circuit, safeguarding the components from moisture, dust, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
Typically, the coating is applied at a thickness ranging from 25 to 250 μm. Each HX Excellence production facility features a dedicated division focused entirely on painting and potting processes within controlled environments for temperature and humidity.
HX Excellence employs two methods for coating:
- Manually, by skilled operators using spray guns
- Automatically, by robots for selective application
HX Excellence is equipped with cutting-edge technology for selective automatic coating, enabled by a substantial fleet of Nordson/Asymtec machines.
To cater to the production demands of clients in various sectors that must adhere to different technical specifications and standards, this division has been established to provide maximum flexibility through the use of both acrylic and silicone or polyurethane paints.
The production facilities also contain departments dedicated to resin coating using automatic and semi-automatic machines.
