HX Excellence assembles traditional PTH (Pin Through Hole) components utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in both lead-free and tin-lead technologies.
The THT assembly divisions are outfitted with automatic wave soldering machines and selective soldering machines to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the process. The "Lead Free" and "Leaded" products are processed on entirely separate soldering lines.
The manual insertion lines for THT components offer two possible configurations:
- MULTIPRODUCT FLEXIBLE, which allows for the simultaneous management of different products, maximizing flexibility.
- CLASSIC IN LINE, which involves operators working in tandem with the soldering machine to optimize production output.
The PRESSFIT components are inserted using a press with adjustable pressure force.
The extensive experience gained over the decades enables the HX Excellence team to continually discover innovative solutions for the challenges associated with THT soldering, including the density of components on the board, management of various types of PCBs based on substrate type and thermal mass, PCB thickness, and assembly involving tight mechanical tolerances. HX Excellence also has a specialized team with decades of experience in assembly according to IPC 610 Class 3 standards (particularly for applications in the railway sector) and a team (ESA Certified) dedicated to the avionics and defense industries. Once the boards are completed, they undergo inspection using automatic optical controls or visual microscopic examination.
